Q: What is Microblading?
A: Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique that enhances eyebrows by depositing pigment into the skin using a handheld blade to create fine, hair-like strokes. It provides natural-looking, fuller brows that last 1-3 years with proper care.

Q: What are NANObrows or machine hairstrokes?
A: NANObrows is an advanced machine-based technique (also called machine hairstrokes) that is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique that mimics microblading but uses a digital pen for ultra-fine, precise pigment strokes. It creates hyper-realistic brows with better longevity and less trauma to the skin. Minimal to no bleeding resulting in easier aftercare with no scabbing. And faster healing. Nano machine also allows for shading adding depth and fullness.

Q: What’s the difference between microblading and NANObrows?
A: Microblading uses a manual blade for a hand-drawn effect, while NANObrows employs a machine for consistent, finer lines. NANObrows heals faster, lasts longer (2-4 years), and suits oily skin and mature skin better, or those who tend to bleed. Microblading sessions are 1.5-2 hours long and NanoBrows are 2.5-3 hours long. If need depth and fullness due to lack of brow hair, NANObrows can provide shading unlike Microblading.Microblading may take a couple days extra to heal. And may have light scabbing unlike NANObrows which usually has just light flaking if anything. Except when shading. Shading can have more flaking then without.

Q: Is Microblading or NANObrows painful?
A: Most clients experience minimal discomfort, similar to tweezing. A topical numbing cream to ensure a comfortable session, can be applied. Pain levels vary by individual tolerance. Microblading tends to be slightly more uncomfortable.

Q: How long does the healing process take for microblading and NANObrows ?
A: Initial healing takes 10-14 days, with full color settling in 4-6 weeks. Avoid submerging brows in water, direct sun, and makeup on the brows during this time for best results. This technique can cause light scabbing, especially if do bleed. If concerns with scabbing then choose NANObrows technique instead. Nano heals quicker.

Q: Who is a good candidate for microblading?
A: Ideal for those with thin, patchy, over-plucked, or uneven brows seeking a low-maintenance solution. It’s not recommended for those with certain skin conditions, allergies to pigments, and never during pregnancy or breastfeeding —A patch test is available. This technique can have pinpoint or light bleeding, therefore if have thin or mature skin, or on blood thinners, or tendency to bleed, NANObrows would be suggested.

A: You must be 18 years or older to receive a permanent makeup service at our studio. You must provide a valid form of ID in the form of a driver’s license and/or state identification card. It is illegal to perform these services in Michigan without this information present at the time of your

appointment.

lifestyle (ex/sun exposure),amount of brow hair (clients with more hair tend to go longer bc not as noticeable when fade, chemical peels/acids/anti-aging and anti-acne products being used, and for reasons unknown.

A: Yes, it’s versatile for dry, normal, mature, and oily skin due to its gentle application. Those with excessive sensitive skin may still need a patch test to ensure no reactions.

A: Keep brows clean by washing and moisturizing with aftercare wash and ointment provided 2-3x a day 10-14 days. Avoid heavy sweating, submerging brows during swimming, or direct sun (where a hat or bigger sun glasses) for 2 weeks. Touch-up sessions are typically scheduled 6-8 weeks post-initial treatment but can prolonged. A full layer of fresh skin needs to heal over which takes approximately 28 days ntherefore, 6 weeks is the earliest to ensure no scarring.

Q: Is NANObrows suitable for all skin types?
A: Yes, it’s versatile for dry, normal, mature, and oily skin due to its gentle application. Those with excessive sensitive skin may still need a patch test to ensure no reactions.

Q: How many sessions are needed for NANObrows & Microblading?
A: Typically one initial session (2-3 hours) followed by a touch-up (1.5-2 hours) after 6-8 weeks. Results are immediate but fully develop in 4 weeks. A Third+ session may be required for more problematic or oily skin. Or for reasons unknown. Or Clients personal satisfaction

Q: Does NANObrows fade faster than traditional tattoos?
A: yes, both Microblading and NanoBrows fade faster than traditional body art tattooing because of the depth. Body tattoos go deeper unlike brow tattooing which goes much more shallower. Both techniques uses specialized pigments that fade gradually for a natural look. And are specifically made for the face. With proper aftercare, expect beautiful brows for several years before fading.

Q: What makes Hadleybrows’ NANObrows & Microblading unique?
A: Our certified artists use premium, hypoallergenic pigments for your skin tone, ensuring customized, long-lasting results with minimal downtime. Experience is key Hadleybrows stared permanent makeup on brows since 2018. Q: Do I have to shave my brows off?

A: No, we try to keep as much hair as possible to make brows look natural

Q: I’m worried they will be too dark or thick , what can you do?

A: We usually go lighter and thinner the first session because we can always add or go darker at your touch up. The first hour is drawing and going over the shape.

Q: will I get to pick my color I want? What if I change my hair color?

A: We have a select amount of light to dark shades of brown that vary from cool to warm shades. We go over color theory and match to skin tone and to BROW hair not scalp hair. If no brow hair present we use skin tone and roots on scalp.

Q: I had my first session and the pigment is barely visible, is this normal or does it not work on me? Can I get a refund?

A: It is completely normal to have fading and for some excessive fading on both, one, or parts of the brows. Which is why there is a touch up. There are no refunds. Everyone’s skin is different and there is no true way of telling each individuals result retention. Attending your touch up is highly recommended and usual a must to get desired results. It’s not mandatory and there are a select few clients who have great retention first round and love them and do not want a touch up.

Q: why isn’t the touch up included if it’s highly recommended and other places include there’s?

A: We choose to keep separate to break up the pricing. It allows a little extra time if needed to save. With the break up of price it allows the artist to have income coming in, month to month, during the slower times, that way gets paid day of service. If you are one that doesn’t need a touch up, you saved money as well. There is also a time frame for touch ups which has caused issues in the past when bundled into one price.

Q: What is the Precare for Microblading & NANObrows?

A: The skin on brows must be free of all irritations including ingrown hairs, blemishes (if not may have to reschedule or go around but can fix bare spot at touch up)

-Absolutely no alcohol 48-hours before application.

Alcohol thins your blood, which means excess bleeding. When you bleed more than normal, it can cause visibility issues for the artist, potentially compromising the quality of the design. Excess bleeding can also thin the ink. Which then may affect the way the skin absorbs the pigment.

If you do bleed I can still do. Some clients are just bleeders. But above content will apply

-Do not exercise within 2-hours before application. This gets your heart pumping and working harder and I want your blood flow to be calm and relaxed so less chance of continuous bleeding.

No intentional tanning 4 days prior . Brow area can not have sunburned skin.

-Do not take Aspirin, Advil, Aleeve, Niacin, Vitamin E or Ibuprofen 48 hours or if can go longer prior to session, even better. So check your vitamins! You will have better and lasting results if you don’t bleed. These cause continuous bleeding.

-No tinting brows 3 week before application.

*Not necessary but feel free to wear your brow makeup to session or have a picture to show, if you want to let me know a general idea of what you like.

Q: Do I need to get my brows waxed or cleaned up before my session?

A: No you do not. We will clean up brows for you. If want them waxed. Must have them waxed no later than 4 days before appointment to avoid irritation.
